Established in Beeston, Nottingham over 70 years ago, John Flynn Opticians is located on the corner of the leafy Devonshire Avenue and Chilwell Road (opposite corner to Ellis-Fermor & Negus Solicitors). The practice is a two minute walk from High Road and The Square in Beeston Town Centre. Getting to the practice could not be easier as it is on the bus (NCT Nottingham City Transport) and tram (NET Nottingham Express Transit) route and the practice is a three minute walk from the Beeston transport interchange on Station Road. For those visiting the practice by car, parking is available for patients in our car park.

John Flynn Opticians offers both Private and NHS eye examinations (eye tests) and also provides a comprehensive contact lens fitting, supply and after-care service. The practice has been at the forefront for providing enhanced eye examinations using state of the art OCT retinal/macula scanning equipment for over a decade. The team are genuinely passionate about providing the best possible product for the needs of the client. The largest range of quality niche eyewear such as Etnia Barcelona, Kirk & Kirk, Orgreen, Polaris, ProDesign and Silhouette and sunglasses such as Maui Jim are stocked. John Flynn remains committed to dispensing some of the best ophthalmic lenses by manufacturers like Nikon Lenswear and Zeiss Lens into some of the finest hand-made frames and glasses (spectacles) from around the world.
